Will works be paid?
Pricing and access plans
We plan to add a paid reading system soon. Because our current workflow relies on machine translation, pricing will stay reasonable and low: about 1 cent per chapter.
We also plan to offer a monthly subscription. Subscribers will be able to read all novels without paying chapter by chapter during the subscription period.
How will revenue be used?
Improving quality and supporting rights holders
Revenue will mainly support two goals.
Translation editing
We want to hire translators and editors to revise and polish machine-translated chapters, improving readability and consistency over time.
Licensing and author support
We also want to contact rights holders and pursue formal licensing agreements, so that revenue from works can reach the original authors.
